AAGGHH!!...
Xanadu Jean, the sidetracking queen, showed me "Kitten Cannon", a flash game where you shoot kittens out of a cannon. Thank you for taking valuable time away from me. (AND YES, the game is addictive).

Joey was a capitalist, Johnny was a republican...
This foot injury proves to me how bored I can get at my own house. For a good half hour, I was thinking of witty MSN Messenger nicknames.
Yesterday, I picked up two 1970's John Saxon films at a surplus store, but I must watch these films with Chemical Amy, Bobby Muppet, Lady Goldie, and The Risk Commander, because movies this bad need company.

Sometimes, even I can't stomach the sight of my foot...
I was planning to show more pictures of my left foot, but the sight of my own foot has grossed me out. My friend Madame Frisbee is a physio-therapist in Toronto, and she informed me about this Traumeel Cream and Arnica Pellets. I have no clue if the pellets are working but I think the cream. The swelling has gone down, but the bruising discoloration has gone to my toes. I now have every colour of the rainbow on my foot and it's really gross.
Other things that happened in the past few days...
I went to a Toy and Collectables show/sale in Komoka (west/south west of London) with my Mom (I got a standard, but her car has A/C) and essentially saw most of the stuff I seen in the past few weeks travelling around in one spot, and most of it was not outstanding except for these large Planters Peanuts jars which a newborn baby could get his or her head stuck in, pending if they had the mobility...
I got an automated e-mail from my ex, which I thought she would have the widsom to remove my e-mail, or at least inform the company that sent the e-mail to remove my name from the list. I don't hate her or anything, but the level of frustration when we're near each other is pretty high and the automated e-mail feels like an unintentional taunt. Please don't ask why...
I found out I can fly with crutches when going across a crosswalk, kind of like the butterfly swim...
Since I picked up my weekly comics yesterday, I am back on catching up on my comics backlog...

bits and pieces...
Cinema Subterrain is tomorrow, and it's going to be a Craig Baldwin mini retrospective. I haven't seen "tribulations 99" yet so it will a bit of a surprise.
This blog address I dig for some reason: http://recoveringmba.blogspot.com/. Just saw the name, but I haven't read it yet.
A bizarre side effect from my injury on Monday: I've developed two bruises under my knee cap on both legs. I have no idea how I got them.
I am slowly reading my comics again, but I can't make an update on the list until my heel improves.
This foot injury really sucks ass. It's making me dull like Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol.

Well, it could have been worse...
On Monday, I got myself in a landscaping accident.

This is what it looks like on the day it happened.

This is what it looks like right now or day 3 to be exact.
And if you want me to define landscaping accident, think a rock that weights over a ton sliding on to your foot.
Yeah.
(I haven't been reading comics for the past few days because of this).

getting praise from past stupidity..
.

This is a beer stein. I won this beer stein at my fraternity formal on Saturday. How did I win this beer stein? By vomitting out of a second storey window and dancing to Beastie Boys' Sabotage on Video while drunk on 2/3 of a bottle of Screech a couple of weeks back. The thing is that I only visit the fraternity maybe once or twice a year. They heard about it from other sources. To me, this is freaky.

The Comic Backlog Countdown...
If you think that title sounds boring, well, you might be right if you don't read comics. Long story short, or story-try-to-explain-properly-in-my-own-way, since late December 2004, there has been a stack of comics on top of my comic book boxes. I have been slowly, and I truly mean slowly, going through these cheap comics I purchase at comic book stores and now antiques shoppes and flea markets. Everything I have been reading is from DC Comics. I have bought some Marvel Comics, but I would bag them up and store them imediately because I don't give a shit for the moment and when you see a couple of comics from Frank Miller's Daredevil run for fifty cents, it would be stupid to leave them alone. Anywho, for every blog I do for now on, I am going to mention how many comics I have to read until the pile(s) is (are) gone.

Oh boy...
I have been spring cleaning today... and it totally beats moving large rocks like I did yesterday. I am also going to work on jobs that should have been completed since before my birthday. I must say winter makes you lazy.
and for those people who are interested, the Omnibot is not mine, it's Johnny Sixteen's (16's didn't look right).

FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE LAME...
I picked up DC Comics "Countdown to Infinite Crisis" today, and I'm realizing that most of the characters in "Formerly Known as the Justice League" mini-series are getting hosed.
It's a letdown if you like dorky characters, but if you want to make an excellent omelet, you have to break the eggs.
By the way, "Countdown to Infinite Crisis" is an interesting read. I would say more but I don't want to spoil the story for others.
