Rah Rah, Rasputin...
After seeing the picture of Rasputin's Penis, I can now understand why the ladies digged him. If you think about it, this penis inadvertly brought in Communism.
To Mr. Menuhin...

The blog pots...
I've gotten to the point where I collected so many links of blogs from blog hopping, I've separated all my blog pots into levels (Farm work makes you do odd things when you don't go out in public).
blog pot omega (almost everyone starts there)
blog pot delta (mainly photography blogs)
blog pot gamma (blogs I check weekly)
blog pot beta (blogs I check semi-daily)
blog pot alpha (blogs of people I actually met, and got drunk at their house)
why am I doing this... I enjoy writing the words blog and pot side by side and would like others to tag along... well, not really, well really I don't care.
I've been driving a tractor all day, and it's making me a bit silly.

living in my own world...
seeing some of the stuff I write makes me realize that I'm living in my own world a little too comfortably. If only the real estate in my mind was a bit cheaper.

counters and whatnot...
a friend asked why I don't have a counter on my blog... well, one reason why I don't have a counter is that it's kind of a sad reminder of how many people check your site just on numbers, and I'm grieving on the tragedy when seven ate nine.
experiment... let's say your in a sports town and you're not a sportsfan, and you're in a dive bar with rowdy drunks, and they're yelling out the team name (like "Go Sox Go", for example), reply back with "take off your clothes" in the same style of chant the drunks are doing it. guarantee humour.
comics front... I am started to collect Grant Morrison's run of "Doom Partol", but I won't be able to read it until I get free time, which seems to be a luxury, which really sucks.
most people know their chinese zodiac animal, but do you know your element (fire, water, metal, earth, wood). It feng shui thing, but hey, mix and match can work in some odd situations.
I thinks it sleep time...

The astrological sign alone is useless, it needs to team-up...
When you check out a person's profile on blogger, you get the astrological sign which is usually your sun sign. What about the moon sign? The sun sign is the outward expression, the moon sign influences your emotion level, how to react in situations, and what you inherit from your ancestors.
Try and guess my moon sign... you got a one in twelve chance.

Well, parking is going to be a bitch this weekend...
I'm in London for the weekend for Cinema Subterrain. The Memorial Cup starts this weekend at the John Labatt Centre. That means I will probably pay an arm and a leg for parking in downtown London, Ontario.
Some days I wished I was living in French Polynesia... some days.

intimidation is not attractive: Me (Dubs/ The King of Kerwood)
i lay traps for troubadours: a lady friend of mine who is single and shall be nameless
The time of the conversation was removed for personal reasons, some people might be offended by the following comments
(start of conversation)
i lay traps for troubadours says: who`s givin you a hard time?
intimidation is not attractive says: it was more of a realization
i lay traps for troubadours says: ah

intimidation is not attractive says: like how you can be attracted to a person from a distance but when you're near that same person, no attraction vibe whatsoever
intimidation is not attractive says: I call that "The Barrier"
i lay traps for troubadours says: hmm... i call that just wanting to have something to pine over at a safe distance
i lay traps for troubadours says: we`ve all done it
intimidation is not attractive says: how about the "friend thinks you should date her/him but you know it won't work out" scenario
i lay traps for troubadours says: oh i know that one too
i lay traps for troubadours says: my new rule is: date someone outside your social circle
intimidation is not attractive says: I totally believe in the "don't date the classmate" rule
intimidation is not attractive says: funny sidenote, or disturbing, however you see it... the "friend thinks you should date her/him but you know it won't work out" scenario was pegged on me a few days ago
i lay traps for troubadours says: oh yeah?
intimidation is not attractive says: I showed one my friends the picture of you in the nekobus, and he said "hey why don't you date her" (paraphrased) my reply: She's seeing someone (truth or not, dunno)

Tomorrow I Hunt in Strathroy...
The town of Strathroy is having their Town Wide Garage Sale tomorrow, and I will be there... hunting for bargains, hunting for odd trinkets, hunting for something obscure. The main goal is to find a good starting point, then spread out. Three locations seem to be the front runners to start out. The Old Arena on Metcalfe Street, "The Old West" (anything West pass Dominion St.), or Carroll Street on the southend. After that, ah, go nuts.
And for something completely different, GO READ DESOLATION JONES BY WARREN ELLIS AND J.H. WILLIAMS III !!!!
(it's a comic under the Wildstorm imprint)
Thank you

Say, where the hell have you been?...
Yeah, I've been somewhat out of it when it comes to blogging these last few days. However, when you see a band that gives you a literal "mindfuck", it can actually alter your vibe for a bit...
This was a start of a blog I planned to do last week... So me and Johnny Sixteen saw Negativland perform in the Kitchener City Hall Council Chamber on Saturday night, and I have to admit that they really need to put warnings on their performances like "please do not operate heavy machinery after one of our shows". Why you ask... well, the show was a total mindfuck.... The show was good, but I couldn't produce any good writing out for a few days. I wanted to explain the setting in detail, but for me it felt insane in a dull way... well more hard to explain even though it could be explained properly.
Other odds and ends: picked up "lcd soundsystem" the same time I picked up my mom's mother's day gift of "The Very Best of the Everly Brothers", and both cds are pretty cool.
I am getting more of the those "SMS.AC" e-mails from people who don't want to talk to me... there is a piece of me that wants to tell these people to piss off, but I really don't want to see what their soap opera of a life they have now.
I went to a small town in Lambton County in a video store where they were selling their stock. I found, and bought the following:
Ghost Dad (the Bill Cosby masterpiece directed by Sidney Poitier)
Disorderies (The Fat Boys and Ralph Bellamy, together...yeah)
Breakin' (I didn't see the Breakin' two: Electric Boogaloo though)
Vibes (Jeff Goldblum and Cyndi Lauper with psychic powers)
The NeverEnding Story (Sorry, no wiseass comment)
Mutant Video (Not Mentioned on IMDB, but has James Belushi)
Gunslinger (Written and Directed by Roger Corman)
Knightriders (Written and Directed by George A. Romero)
Roller Derbys Greatest Highlights (WHICH WAS AWESOME)
I saw "The Long Good Friday" with Bob Hoskins for the first time... WOW. This is a movie you should watch if you are into British Mob films, and if you want to see Pierce Bronson in a bit part that's very anti-James Bond.
Man, maybe I should write more often...
Comics left: 104 (the pile goes down but I still buy more)
