I've been in and out of this house these past two weeks. I've had an antique hunter come in and acquire some of the surviving light fixtures, replace the floor jacks in the basement with makeshift posts, thrown out clothes that should have been thrown out fifteen years ago, and found a hole in a second floor ceiling develop by raccoons that control the attic. Now I have to prep the house for devil's night for any assholes who want to cause shit out in the country. I love halloween but hate the night before.

A collection of odds and ends...
- At the moment, I'm listening to INXS Kick on Vinyl (and no, I did not watch the show this past summer/fall)...
- On the my daily reads I've notice a lot of people talking about or are in the state of moving, here and here...
- I'm enjoying Darwyn Cooke's artwork every time I see it. I just read his "Solo" issue from DC COMICS recently and I suggest anyone reading this to find The New Frontier in TPB...
- I'm back to slowly cleaning the spooky abandon house. I threw half the clothes I found there. They either had rust stains or mold stains. Then again they should have been thrown out fifteen years ago... and the mice and raccoons are having a turf war at the house, the mice have got the kitchen while the raccoons have the attic...
- I need to take more photos for my flickr site but since the weather has been so crappy around where I live, there's nothing worth taking at the time being...

Halloween costume...
Oh I got one, and it will blows minds.
Well, if people know it, it will blows minds.
And I've been to parties where people dress up as the bad guys from "V".
(how many people remember "V")?

I don't know why I'm doing this, but I am...
I've been on MySpace more than usual recently. I'm not particularily a fan of the site, in fact I know people that left myspace because FOX bought the site, but recently I have been enjoying "find the blatantly fake profile", you know, posers who put up pictures of some amateur online stripper and say that's them. Ah maturity...
I caught something this past week and it's slowly getting out of my system, which sucks, because I wanna get better and work on my halloween costume, even though I still have no clue on what I want to be.

A suggestion for music listeners...
Buy the latest Boards of Canada album the campfire headphase.
(It would be the electronica section of a large corporate music store if you didn't know where to find it.)

being open about bad grammar...
I was doing the quasi-daily reads when I notice something in the VideoAlpha intro blurb that I didn't see before, which was the promotion of bad grammar.
I don't know why, but I thought that was cool.
Seriously.

Car Hunting...
It's been a few days since the demise of the Black Sunfire. However, I haven't made much time to actually look for another vehicle. It seems for the time being whatever vehicle is next will be shared with my father, and that's not particularily good in my books because of the following...
1) The vehicle will be used as there are no new cars or trucks that are under $10,000.
2) There will be a good chance that the vehicle will be the same as a previous vehicle we've owned, like a Pontiac Sunfire, Chevrolet Cavalier, or Ford F150.
3) If the vehicle is used for farm purposes, there will be an oil stain on the upholstery within three weeks in which will be impossible to get out.
4) I'm sure that my say will be at best, a suggestion.
The only things that my father and I are agreement with getting another vehicle are the less the bells and whistles, the better, and a manual transmission because a stick shift tends to give us less problems further down the road.
I would like a Yaris Hatchback, me pop wants another sunfire so we can use the last sunfire for parts, but we will end up with something totally different like a small toyota pick up truck.
I'd put money on it, but it would be a bet I would lose.

... On Saturday, I took a dump in one of the worse bathrooms in the Forest City. Because of that, I will never drink two cups of coffee on the same day...
this was mentioned on another blog but due to some changes, I decided to post this gross comment on this site.

Black Sunfire: 1995-2005
THE SUNFIRE- At the Kerwood Auto Service, on Friday, October 14, 2005, the 1995 Pontiac Sunfire 11th year. Beloved owner of Dubs, The King of Kerwood, of Kerwood. Burrower of Da Wonger, The Asian Evel Knievel of London. Rider of Johnny Sixteen, The A/V MacGuyer of London, MacFluffyslippers of Strathroy, and Mr. Superfantastico of Parkhill. Survived by the John Saxon Fanclub, filmies, drunken fraternity friends, and Tow Truck guys that gave their life story in under an hour. At the request of Father Polevault, the sunfire with be rusting beside the usuable hopper wagons and the discs that need to be pulled out of the ground before winter hits. No Visitation. No Funeral. Purchases from any beer company and product given to the victims would be appreciated by Dubs.
A car or truck will be purchase with the same colour as a memorial to the sunfire.

squeak squeak...
It's been a few days since I last saw the mouse.
I set out a mouse trap with peanut butter on the trigger. However, the next day I saw the mouse trap with no mouse and no peanut butter.
Then again, I haven't heard any squeaky sounds from my closet.
(as I write this, my father opens up my bedroom door to show me a mouse trap with a dead mouse in it from the kitchen. His tactics is wedging a raisin into the trigger of the mouse trap.)

squeak...
Earlier tonight I saw a mouse run into my room. Usually I wouldn't give a shit but I have very large comic book collection in which I do not want damage in any sort of way. So my first instinct was to find it and kill it (yes, kill it). At first glance, it looked like it ran into the closet so I quick and removed as much stuff I could in a quiet manner as my parents were sleeping in the next room. I found two boxes that were in my closet that had nothing in them, which for some reason pissed me off because I'm someone who doesn't like wasted space. I couldn't see the mouse anywhere in my closet, then I waited a bit just to hear if it moved somewhere else in my room. It was under my legal bookcase cabinet. I quickly moved everything that was in front of the case to on top of the bed. Again, I waited for any new sounds. It was back in the closet, but stupid ass me put most of the item on the floor in my closet back.
So right now, my door is open, my floor is covered with dust bunnies, and I'm gotten paranoid enough to consider sleeping in the living room because I have four comic book long boxes on my bed, and I don't want the comics to get damaged. However, I'm waiting for the mouse to leave.

It's not like my life is interesting but I don't have much to say for now...
As I write this, I'm listening to Vinyl, realizing the rut I put myself into recently, life wise. Farm work has made everything tiresome, and I'm trying hard as possible not to fall asleep while writing. At the moment, I have nothing compelling to complain, critique, or comment about, except little personal things that would only interest some but not a lot of people.
I haven't seen The Fabulous Mr. Moy at his place in awhile. At least he takes photos and places them on flickr. He's been taking cool photos of his neighbourhood. I helped Johnny Sixteen relocate from one place to another earlier this week, and the only thing I fear about his new place are the stairs outside as they are wooden and would be slippery in the winter time.
I went to a keg party last night in London, but the only people I wanted to talk to were working bar or the door. I did take photographs, but I haven't uploaded them yet. I had to get there by the farm car as my car would not start. My car wants to die, I think. It's a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire with over 343000 kms (213140 miles) on it. I've been having problems with keeping the car on. I can't idle or it will stall and will not start. I'm waiting for the part I need so my car can get better. I haven't done any antiquing in strange small towns for awhile. However, I've been going to a coin store to buy comics (Yes, I'm aware of the possible irony). To me, most of these sentences are related, but that would involve a boring monotonous explaination that would put me to sleep.
