note for the future...
when exiting an automobile, make sure your head is down before you're fully out of the car. If not, you will have a large bruise on your head from the doorway.
I speak out of experience.

My guess is that you are used to having someone guide your head as they put you in the back of the car and you don't get similar service when they take you out to the holding cell.
